Son of Manwich

Although there is only one biblical reference to Jesus' "feed the masses" routine, there is evidence (such as this very painting) that suggest that Jesus tried out several other types of food prior to settling the bread and fishes variant included in the new testament.

Similar to most restaurants' "sunday brunch" practices, Jesus' earlier routines were really more of a whatever-was-around affair. On this occasion, the disciples had procured a large amount of bacon from a butcher who had recently converted to Judaism. Although he had a hard time of it, Jesus managed to convince about half the crowd that pork was "back on the menu", and passed out the BLT sandwiches. Unfortunately, weevils had attacked the bread supplies, and eaten the crusts off all the loaves.

Some people believe this is what led to the Christian practice of serving unleavened bread at the mass.

However, as seen by other evidence on this very site, Jesus and his inner circle did keep mostly to a strictly kosher diet, to the point that bringing ham to a dinner party was considered a rather uncouth joke.
